The Huntington Hospital will partner with the Altadena Library District to host a free health screening event for adults on Monday, April 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will take place in the small meeting room of the Altadena Main Library.
The health screenings will be conducted by registered nurses who will provide personal health guidance, hypertension (high blood pressure) screening, and diabetes (high blood sugar) risk assessment and screening. In addition, medical and social services referrals will be offered along with health promotion literature and resources.
The event is open to all adults and no appointment or registration is necessary. Attendees are encouraged to come and take advantage of this free opportunity to monitor their health and receive guidance and resources to improve it.
The event is sponsored by the Altadena Library District and is part of their ongoing efforts to provide valuable community services and resources to the residents of Altadena.
