Adults who feel left behind by smartphones and tablets can get free, one-on-one technology help at the South Pasadena Public Library’s Tech Help Sessions. Volunteers sit down with adults to answer basic questions, from turning on a device to sending email or accessing apps. Participants are encouraged to bring their charged phones, tablets or laptops, along with any usernames and passwords they need to log in.

Sessions run Fridays on a drop-in basis — no appointment required. The service is aimed at adults who want patient, practical coaching rather than a formal class, and is sponsored by the South Pasadena Public Library.

Tech Help Sessions will run on Friday, February 20, at 3 to 5 p.m. South Pasadena Public Library, 1100 Oxley St., South Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 403-7330 or visit https://www.southpasadenaca.gov/Events-Directory/Tech-Help-Sessions.
