The Boys and Girls Club Goes Groovy for Virtual Black Tie and Burger Fundraiser

STAFF REPORT
Published on Oct 8, 2020

The Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena’s annual Black Tie and Burgers fundraiser has returned with a virtual format and a groovy theme.

Saturday night, October 10, will be a fun-filled virtual event themed “Come Together” to celebrate the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena, the kids they serve, and their friends and supporters.

Along with groovy entertainment, the event will include both a live and a silent auction, the winner of the annual Wine Wagon Raffle will be announced, and there will be presentations about the Club and its work as well.

A VIP Party Box Ticket, at $100, includes a night-of-event local delivery of two burger meals for two people in one location, access to the virtual live show with entertainment, live auction and donation opportunities, a commemorative yard sign showing your support for the Club, and pre-event local delivery of one Party Box for two at one location. Each Party Box contains a bottle of red wine, commemorative reusable wine glasses, full table settings, special “Come Together” desserts, and party favors.

You might also like to simply make a $100 donation without receiving a Party Box or burger meals. In that case, send an email to Stephanie Bernal, Stephanie.bernal@bgcpasadena.org after placing your ticket order online.

Stayin’ Alive, It’s the Monkees, Good Vibrations, and Wild Horses sponsorships will also include burger meals and Party Box deliveries, plus your company logo or sponsor name featured in all advertising, listing on the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena “Come Together” website, all social media, and press releases.

Free general admission “Ticket to Ride” tickets will allow you access to the live show on Saturday, which begins at 7 p.m.

All funds raised will be dedicated to life-changing programs for kids and teens in the greater Pasadena community, where the Club is needed now more than ever as it finds new and creative ways to best meet the needs of kids and families during the pandemic and school closures.
