The DENA Home Market Returns Sunday

Community Recovery Event Brings Resources, Support to Fire Victims
Published on Apr 26, 2025

The DENA Home Market, a monthly event designed to support victims of the Eaton Fire while fostering community connections, will return to Day One Pasadena headquarters on Sunday, April 27, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Organized by Day One, the market serves the Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre communities with a dual focus on recovery resources and neighborhood engagement.

The event features two distinct sections. In the Day One Yard, a Housing Fair will provide critical fire recovery resources, including free essential goods, financial assistance, and information on lot sales. Attendees can also access guidance on permits, connect with contractors and architects, and receive free legal counseling.

Meanwhile, Thurgood Marshall Avenue will transform into a vibrant Flea Market complete with farmers market vendors, live music, local art, food trucks, and specialty areas for teens, children, and relaxation. A content creator booth will also be available.

“This event brings the community together for resources, support, and connection,” Day One said in announcing the event. The monthly gathering reflects the organization’s commitment to supporting residents navigating recovery after the devastating fires.

Free tickets for the event are available at bit.ly/denahomemarket. Day One Pasadena headquarters is located at 175 N. Euclid Ave.

Residents throughout the Pasadena area are encouraged to attend, whether directly affected by the fires or simply looking to support neighbors through this community-building initiative.
