On a warm, golden evening, guests gathered to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities and their many contributions to The Huntington. An Evening Among the Roses is a very special garden party with music, specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dancing in the stunning and iconic North Vista. Dressed in their best fanciful garden party attire, guests sipped, noshed and danced their way through a glorious evening.
The evening featured a Vogue performance by REACH LA. Reach LA provides a safe and supportive environment that strives to educate, motivate, and mobilize youth around sexual/reproductive health, culture and self-preservation. REACH LA also helps to provide funding for emerging artists by showcasing their work, which includes digital art, photography, poetry, illustration, dance, drag, and videography.
