An Evening Among the Roses at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens unfolded as a dazzling celebration of Pride, blending vintage glamour with modern exuberance. The event offered guests a memorable night of music, artistry, and community spirit.
The Huntington’s Rose Garden provided a breathtaking backdrop for the 11th annual An Evening Among the Roses, where guests were invited to revel in the splendor of a bygone era. Attendees, dressed in sparkling garden party attire, mingled among fragrant blooms, sipping specialty cocktails and savoring gourmet hors d’oeuvres as twilight settled over the gardens.
The atmosphere was electric with anticipation as Vincent Rodriguez III, celebrated for his role in ‘My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,’ delivered a captivating performance that had the crowd enthralled. Earlier in the evening, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles set a jubilant tone at the VIP reception, their harmonies echoing through the garden and underscoring the night’s message of pride and inclusivity.
The event was more than a party—it was a heartfelt tribute to the LGBTQ+ community’s enduring contributions to The Huntington and the broader cultural tapestry. Guests danced under the stars, surrounded by the timeless elegance of the gardens, making memories that will linger long after the final note faded. An Evening Among the Roses was a testament to the power of celebration, community, and the enduring allure of classic sophistication.
