More than 30 local vendors will transform Pasadena Commons into a bustling artisan marketplace this Saturday, as The Makers Hive Market brings its “Community Over Competition” philosophy to Southern California.

The event, running from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PDT on August 23, will feature local artisans and small businesses alongside live music by @priscillalikepresley from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The market represents the latest expansion for an organization that now operates across five Western states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado.

The Makers Hive Market was founded on a mission of “Community Over Competition,” aiming to create a supportive environment for small businesses.

Rather than pitting vendors against each other, the organization focuses on fostering community engagement and promoting local commerce.

The Pasadena event spotlights the organization’s growing reach as it continues to provide platforms for local artisans to connect directly with their communities.

“The Makers Hive Market at Pasadena Commons” will run on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pasadena Commons, 140-146 S Lake Ave, in Pasadena.
