Progressive rock band The Mars Volta will perform at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Wednesday, November 26, at 8 p.m., as part of their fall North American tour.

The concert marks one of the final stops on the band’s 25-date tour supporting their ninth studio album “Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacio” (Spanish for “Filthy Lucre; The Eyes of the Void”), released April 11 by Clouds Hill Records. The 18-track album marks their third release since reuniting in 2022 after a decade-long hiatus.

Founding members Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, both from El Paso, Texas, formed the band in 2001 after their previous group At the Drive-In broke up.

Concert reviews indicate the band performs the entire new album each night.

The Grammy Award-winning band—they took Best Hard Rock Performance in 2009 for “Wax Simulacra”—will be joined by Puerto Rican opening acts Kianí Medina and Feliz y Dada.

The historic 2,997-seat venue opened in 1932 and hosted the Emmy Awards from 1977 to 1997.

The Mars Volta will run on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. Pasadena Civic Auditorium, 300 E. Green St., Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 449-7360 or visit https://www.ticketmaster.com/the-mars-volta-pasadena-california-11-26-2025/event/0B006288AE011836. Ticket prices: $41-$94.
