The State Fair at Santa Anita Park is opening on Thursday, July 29 through Sunday, August 22, at Santa Anita Park, located at 285 W. Huntington Drive in Arcadia.
Accessible to Pasadena area and Los Angeles County residents, the State Fair will feature VIP experiences, wine and seltzer garden, carnival rides and games, and live musical performances from Led Zepegain (a Led Zeppelin tribute), Barefoot Nation (a tribute to Kenny Chesney), Appetite 4 Destruction (a Guns ‘N’ Roses Tribute), and Como La Flor (a Selena Tribute) on opening weekend. Guests can enjoy VIP experiences, wine and seltzer garden, carnival rides and games.
Up to 40 different live bands will be at the Fair, plus 20 stunt shows including dog stunts and motocross stunt shows, and over 50 rides and attractions.
Live music is completely free with Fair admission.
Considered one of the world’s most beautiful race tracks, Santa Anita is home to numerous prestigious races including the Santa Anita Derby, the Santa Anita Handicap, and the Breeders’ Cup. Racing season runs from December to June from Thursday to Sunday.
You can wager at betting windows or self-service terminals. Aside from the State Fair and horse races, Santa Anita also produces alternative programming and special events.
A wide variety of food and drinks will be available, from Texas-Sized Giant Turkey Legs to Deep Fried Butter. A full menu is available upon arrival, along with a fairground map. For any allergies, please clearly state your allergy to a manager on duty.
