Sherman is currently casting and voice-directing for Apple, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Disney TV Animation, Fox, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., Adult Swim and Max. Recent projects include “Rick and Morty,” “Spider-Man: Freshman Year,” “Animaniacs,” “The Cuphead Show,” “Looney Tunes Cartoons,” “My Dad the Bounty Hunter,” “Krapopolis,” “Hamster and Gretel” and “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.” She spent 12 years at Disney Television Animation, rising to executive director of casting and talent relations on shows including “Gravity Falls,” “Phineas and Ferb,” “Big Hero 6: The Series” and “Star vs. the Forces of Evil,” before leaving in 2017 to launch her independent practice.
The dinner runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is served family-style. Tickets are $49 per person. The evening also includes installation of the 2026-2027 USC Trojan Affiliates board, with Co-Presidents Cynthia Wiese and Megan Tancredi of Pasadena beginning their second year, plus a review of the past year’s activities and recognition of new members.
USC Trojan Affiliates is a philanthropic San Gabriel Valley women’s group affiliated with the University of Southern California, raising scholarship funds for USC students who attended local high schools. All interested women, USC alumnae, parents and friends are welcome.
