Theatre Americana and the Zonta Club of Burbank Area present “Christmas in Camelot” this holiday season, a musical performance supporting women’s empowerment initiatives locally and globally.
The December 14 event at the Shakespeare Club, 171 S. Grand Ave. in Pasadena, promises a delightful and enjoyable blend of music, magic, and holiday spirit.
The evening will highlight the timeless music of Lerner & Loewe, bringing the beloved story of Camelot to life through song. With a mix of soaring vocals and deeply emotional interpretations, the cast features Michael Shaughnessy as King Arthur, Marianne Davis-Rago as Queen Guinevere, Michael Selle as Lancelot, and Elizah Reyes as Galahad. From moments of joy to heartbreak and triumph, the performance is sure to evoke the full range of emotions that Camelot inspires.
Proceeds from the $55 admission will benefit the Zonta Club of Burbank Area and its mission to empower women locally and globally. Funds raised will support initiatives like the club’s Wings Grants, which assist women overcoming adversity. The ticket price includes both the performance and a pre-show reception.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and beverages, followed by the main performance at 7:30 p.m.
The Shakespeare Club, a historic villa nestled in a prestigious Pasadena neighborhood, serves as the backdrop for this magical evening.
