Brace yourselves, UFO enthusiasts and sci-fi fanatics — AlienCon has descended upon the Pasadena Convention Center for its second time, and it’s shaping up to be out of this world.
With a surge of public interest in UFOs, UAPs, and unexplained phenomena in recent years, the annual convention has become a premier destination for those seeking to explore the depths of extraterrestrial mysteries. This year’s event, held on March 4th and 5th, promises to deliver just that, with a star-studded lineup of expert guest panelists and a range of presentations, autograph sessions, and exclusive merchandise.
Nick Pope, the retired UK Ministry of Defense UFO investigator, is among the prominent panelists slated to appear at AlienCon 2023. He notes that recent events have propelled the topic of UFOs and extraterrestrial life from the fringes of science fiction to the forefront of mainstream discussion.
The convention’s panels and presentations will cover a wide range of subjects, from ancient civilizations and lost worlds to sacred relics and secret sites. Attendees can expect to delve into topics such as close encounters, paranormal reports, cryptids, and the long road to Disclosure – all with the overarching theme of exploring the unexplained.
But it’s not just about the speakers and presentations.
AlienCon also boasts over a hundred vendors, selling everything from Droid builders and artwork to Alien Hot Sauce. Fans can even snag autographs or photographs with their favorite contributors from four of the History Channel shows featured at the event.
Jill Tully, Vice President of Consumer Enterprises at A+E Networks, said that this year’s event is AlienCon’s first in-person gathering since the pandemic began in 2020. She adds that the first event held in Pasadena in 2018 was a resounding success, and the organizers are thrilled to bring it back to the wider Pasadena and Los Angeles community.
