Your grandmother’s handwritten recipes, that faded photograph from your first job, the letter you never sent—these fragments of your life are waiting to become something more. On Friday, September 26, the Lamanda Park Branch Library will host a “Write Your Life” workshop designed to help participants transform personal memories and documents into compelling written narratives.
The two-hour session, running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., encourages attendees to bring personal photographs, documents, and mementos that hold significance. Participants should also come equipped with either a pen and notebook or a laptop to capture their thoughts and begin crafting their narratives.
The workshop takes place at the Lamanda Park Branch Library, located at 140 S. Altadena Drive in Pasadena. The venue offers both on-site and street parking for attendees. Those planning to make a day of it can grab a meal at Rosebud Café, just 0.3 miles from the library.
For more information about the workshop, contact the library at 626-744-7266 or visit the City of Pasadena’s library calendar at cityofpasadena.net/library/calendar.
