Treasured Gem, Crown City Symphony Performs Sunday

Classical music enthusiasts in Pasadena and beyond have a local treasure in the Crown City Symphony. The Symphony will perform Schubert’s Symphony #8 and Violin Concerto #3 by Saint-Saën at First Baptist Church of Pasadena on Sunday at 2:00 pm.

The orchestra has been delivering beautiful performances for over two decades. 

Founded in 2002 by Roberta Wilcox and the Pasadena Senior Center, their inaugural performance was conducted by founding Music Director, Mr. Marvin Neumann, in 2003. Since then, they have been a staple in the Pasadena community and beyond, bringing the joy of classical music to audiences far and wide.

The Symphony’s concert season is a highlight for many classical music lovers, consisting of two to three performances of each of its three programs. Audiences can expect a rich, varied selection of classical music, including works by composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky. The group’s performances are highly regarded for their musical excellence.

The Crown City Symphony is a true gem for classical music lovers in Pasadena and beyond.
