Twilight Garden Strolls are scheduled for Friday, August 1, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at various garden locations at The Huntington, located at 1151 Oxford Rd., San Marino, in Pasadena.

This unique after-hours garden exploration at the historic Huntington offers visitors a transformative evening experience that blends nature, history, and twilight magic.

The program provides exclusive access to one of Southern California’s most significant cultural institutions during special after-hours periods, connecting visitors to major cultural and historical movements.

The event addresses contemporary social issues around urban nature access and community gathering spaces while presenting unique artistic and intellectual perspectives through the intersection of horticulture, history, and contemplative experience.

The Huntington’s botanical gardens serve as living repositories of cultural knowledge, making this exploration both educationally significant and philosophically engaging.

During the twilight hours, visitors can encounter questions about humanity’s relationship with nature and place as they explore the gardens in a different light.

The program offers an opportunity for community gathering in one of the region’s premier cultural spaces, providing access to green spaces during cooler evening temperatures.
