For more than 60 years, Trojan Affiliates, a philanthropic women’s group of the University of Southern California, has provided scholarships to deserving USC students in the San Gabriel Valley. On Thursday, February 12, 2026, Trojan Affiliates hosted its Annual Benefit Luncheon, bringing together members, and supporters in celebration of scholarship, service, and student success.

Guests enjoyed a festive luncheon and program, along with an opportunity drawing featuring gift card trees, dinners, wine tastings, and Valentine-themed gifts. A highlight of the event was the opportunity to meet the five Trojan Affiliates scholarship recipients, who shared their inspiring personal stories and academic journeys with attendees.

Trojan Affiliates was honored to welcome the 13th President of University of Southern California, Beong-Soo Kim, as the luncheon’s guest speaker. President Kim spoke about his focus on academic excellence, enhancing the value of a USC education, and strengthening the university’s ties to the community. He noted that nearly two-thirds of USC undergraduate students receive financial assistance through merit scholarships, need-based grants, Federal Work-Study, and student loans. President Kim also emphasized his strong support for USC alumni organizations, making his presence especially meaningful to Trojan Affiliates.

The Annual Benefit Luncheon illustrated Trojan Affiliates’ longstanding commitment to empowering students through education and fostering a strong connection between USC and the San Gabriel Valley community. Through events like this, Trojan Affiliates continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of USC students—today and for generations to come.
