Hastings Branch Library will host a free Valentine’s Day Card-Making Workshop on Friday, February 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., inviting community members to create handmade cards for friends and loved ones.

The drop-in event welcomes participants of all ages to either choose from prefabricated craft designs for quick creation or explore a variety of crafting supplies and let their creativity guide them.

No registration is required.

The workshop follows a similar format to the library’s successful holiday card-making event held in December, which offered participants a space for community connection while providing all necessary materials.

Hastings Branch Library is located at 3325 East Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena.

The workshop falls within the library’s Friday operating hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving participants the chance to create Valentine’s Day cards eight days before the February 14 holiday.

For accessibility information and accommodation requests, patrons should contact the library in advance to help ensure availability.

The library can be reached at (626) 744-7262.

The Pasadena Public Library system, under the direction of Tim McDonald, serves the community through its Central Library and neighborhood branches.

The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library, founded in 1975, supports library programs, special services and cultural events throughout the system.
