Just outside Pasadena’s western edge, a new cannabis dispensary will throw a Grand Opening party Saturday spiced by giveaways, delicious food and “free swag” at its beautiful new store.
Velvet Cannabis will party down in Eagle Rock from noon until 5 pm at 1118 Colorado Boulevard, just west of Figueroa Plaza.

Alkais said the public should stop by for the Grand Opening, where they can enjoy huge deals on their cannabis brands and a chance to win fun prizes when they spin “The Wheel of Weed.”
In a video, Velvet President and COO Matt Morea explained that with Velvet Cannabis, “you’re going to walk into a beautiful store that’s clean. We’re going to ask a couple of questions, understand what brings you in, and we’re going to do our very best to introduce you to some products that we think are going to solve whatever your need is.”
