The Village Brown Baggers, a monthly event for seniors that Pasadena Village some time ago, is emerging once again for a Friday, Aug. 2 comeback from noon to 1 p.m.

Organized by Karen Bagnard, the gathering aims to provide a relaxed environment for members of Pasadena Village to connect and socialize over lunch. Participants are encouraged to bring their own meals and engage in casual conversation at the Village Office, where they can enjoy the outdoor setting.

The name Brown Baggers stems from the tradition of attendees bringing lunches in brown paper bags. The gathering serves as an opportunity for seniors to break from their routines, share stories, and strengthen connections within their local community.

The event, held on the first Friday of each month, is free and open to all, not just Village members. Attendees should look for the Pasadena Village sign in the park.

For any questions, participants are advised to contact the event organizer, Karen Bagnard. The specific location is a private address, available upon login to registered attendees.
