Brad Colerick’s Wine and Song series presents Holly Bernt Band and Bay Area folk and Americana singer-songwriter Zoe FitzGerald Carter, on Wednesday July 13, 7 p.m. at Mamma’s Brick Oven in South Pasadena.
Detroit expats, the Holly Bernt Band, now based in Los Angeles, will be back with Brad Colerick in the tent behind Mamma’s Brick Oven. Also on the bill is Zoe FitzGerald Carter, who last year released her debut solo LP, Waterlines.
Colerick started the Wind and Song series in 2009 “to present the music I love to the community I love.” The venue was a wine bar where he signed on to do eight Wednesday night shows.
A few venues and over 500 shows later, the Wine and Song series lives on, currently in person and in podcast form, and has become known to artists far and wide for the enthusiastic audiences that lean into every word.
No tickets are required for Wednesday’s concert, just a $15 donation is suggested.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music begins at 7 p.m.
