Woon said the menu will include Kid’s Noodles alongside its Beef Noodles and its Veggie Noodles, which the restaurant describes as vegan. The beef noodle dish is made with wok-charred chewy noodles, marinated flank steak, bok choy and shiitake mushrooms.
Good Neighbor Bar has no food menu of its own and brings food vendors onto its patio through the week. Its all-ages patio is open Sundays from 4 to 9 p.m., with indoor service until 10 p.m. Sunday’s noodle service runs 4 to 8 p.m., according to event listings.
The bar sits on Lincoln Avenue inside the Eaton Fire footprint, on a block where its building came through the fire without physical damage. Woon’s second restaurant, at 1392 E. Washington Blvd. on the Altadena edge, opened Dec. 30, 2024, and closed a week later when the fire burned through Altadena and northern Pasadena. It reopened Jan. 18, 2025. Owner Keegan Fong, a Pasadena native, told the Los Angeles Times that January that he estimated 40% of his market was gone, “either erased or displaced.”
