A weekly self-healing series led by yogic practitioner Jyoti Subramanian will launch August 7 at the Pasadena New Thought Center, offering practical tools aimed at inner transformation and emotional mastery through ancient techniques.

Sessions will take place on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the center’s campus at 690 E. Orange Grove Blvd. They are free to attend and open to the public, with love donations welcome to support Subramanian’s work and the center’s programming.

“A wonderful opportunity to learn simple yet powerful yogic techniques to take control of your emotions and mind leading to the ultimate stage of going with the flow,” reads the promotional flyer.

Subramanian, a disciple of Himalayan Master Yogiraj Siddhanath, began her yogic journey at age eight and brings more than 30 years of experience teaching in India and internationally. Her methods are described as rooted in the yogic tradition yet adapted for modern-day living.

The sessions explore Panchakosha, the five-layered body framework central to yogic philosophy: Annamaya (physical body), Pranamaya (life energy), Manomaya (mental), Vijnanamaya (wisdom) and Anandamaya (bliss). Attendees will also learn Mahavatar Babaji’s Kundalini Kriya Yoga, Chakra Pranayam techniques to “climb the 7 inner steps to bliss & balance,” and the Siddhanath Golden Lotus method described as “new life awakening.”

Practices incorporate breathwork, meditation and awareness-based transformation. “Breathe the subtle life force energy—pran,” the flyer states. “Realise the connection between mind and breath. Transform into love.”

Participants will be guided to “decode and immerse into the wellspring of joy within,” with each session designed to promote peace, well-being and the unlocking of one’s inner potential.
