The 2022 Audi A6 Allroad carves its own distinctive route. The Allroad embraces a different approach to Audi’s lineup, prioritizing off-road aptitude. Equipped with a standard adjustable air suspension, boasting additional ground clearance, this model trades on-road agility for rugged capability.

Within its ample interior, a plethora of opulent amenities and cutting-edge technologies enhance the appeal of the Allroad, elevating it to a premium station wagon. The vehicle provides comfortable seating for five passengers, featuring a taller roof compared to the standard A6 model.

Alongside its Audi signature style, it offers ample cargo space, allowing for convenient storage. There’s also a comprehensive array of technologies incorporated to elevate the driving experience for a more entertaining ride.

Available in two trims: Premium Plus and Prestige, this review will focus on the Prestige trim.

The 2022 Audi A6 Allroad Prestige is equipped with the Executive Package, which elevates the driving experience to new heights with its comprehensive array of upscale features. Inside the cabin, the car offers four-zone automatic climate control, ensuring that all occupants can individually adjust their preferred temperature settings for maximum comfort. The sophistication is further enhanced by the ambient interior lighting, creating a captivating and inviting atmosphere during nighttime drives. For added relaxation, the ventilated front seats keep the driver and front passenger cool and refreshed even on hot days, while the heated rear seats provide soothing warmth to rear passengers during colder weather.

Safety is also prioritized, thanks to the inclusion of blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning, a system that vigilantly alerts the driver to the presence of vehicles in their blind spot and approaching traffic while reversing. The lane departure mitigation feature actively assists the driver by issuing warnings when drifting without using the turn signal and can even intervene by automatically steering to maintain the vehicle’s lane position.

The Allroad’s interior offers a spacious and accommodating cabin, comfortably seating adults front and back. Ample headroom, legroom, and shoulder room put it ahead of the competition in terms of space. The driving position provides a commanding view of the road, courtesy of its higher-than-standard ride height, which also makes entry and exit a breeze.

The convenience of the standard 360-degree camera aids in navigating tight spaces effortlessly. Within the A6, the controls may take a minute to get accustomed to, but they quickly become intuitive and easily accessible after a few days of use.

Traveling in the Allroad is a serene experience, due to its ultra-quiet interior and a smooth ride on highways. Thanks to the standard air suspension and substantial tire sidewalls, the vehicle adeptly absorbs both big and small bumps on the road.

Powering the Allroad is a 3.0-liter, turbocharged V6 producing 335 horses with 369 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual clutch automatic. The Quattro all-wheel drive system is standard on all models. Expect to get 21/city, 28/highway and 23/combined MPG.

Driving the Allroad is a blast thanks to that turbo engine. It’s quick off the dime and gets to highway speeds in the blink of an eye. I know in a certain part of my daily freeway drive, I have to speed up and get out of the two right lanes quickly, I looked down and I was doing 80 mph and I hadn’t even floored it. When hitting curvy roads, it makes its way around but with less than thrill-invoking cornering.

On road or off the 2022 Audi A6 Allroad Prestige brings it.
