An argument between two acquaintances resulted in a hit and run collision at 3:55 a.m. Sunday, June 17th near Foothill Boulevard and Vinedo Avenue, according to Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman.
The victim, a 33-year-old Pasadena man, and suspect, a 58-year-old Pasadena man, were allegedly arguing about the victim’s property and there was contention about what belonged to whom.
The suspect had victim’s property in his possession. As the suspect drove away from the location, the victim held onto the roof rack of the vehicle while it was in motion, according to Lt. Goodman.
The suspect drove about 25 yards before stopping, at which time the victim allegedly lost his grip and fell from the vehicle.
As the suspect was speeding away, he ran over the victim’s foot, causing injury.
Pasadena police know the identity of the suspect, but he has not yet been arrested, according to Lt. Goodman.
