AIDS Service Center (ASC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Vining to a two year term as the new chair of the Board of Directors.

Vining has been a member of the ASC board since 2012. She will be replacing Rebecca Haussling as chair. Vining has over 20 years of financial experience and is a wealth manager for Morgan Stanley in the Pasadena office. She created custom-designed wealth and planning solutions for same sex and women clientele due to her commitment to diversity and the LGBT community. She attended local schools and is a resident of San Gabriel.

As the impact of HIV and AIDS in the community continues to increase, AIDS Service Center (ASC) improves the lives of the most vulnerable individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS throughout Los Angeles County and improves the health of our community by preventing new infections.

From its simple origins in 1987 in the basement of All Saints Church, Pasadena, ASC provides housing services, prevention, outreach, education and basic needs assistance. In partnership with other HIV/AIDS agencies, ASC supports food, transportation and advocacy to individuals and families. Information on AIDS Service Center can be found at www.aidsservicecenter.org

AIDS Service Center also welcomes three new board members, Ron Owens of Kaiser Permanente, Brad Hanson of Franklin Templeton Investments and Daniel Malakhov of Gen1.
