Bike the Vote L.A., an independent group of active transportation and safe streets-concerned members in Los Angeles, has endorsed two candidates in the upcoming Pasadena city elections based on those candidates’ positions on bicycling and transportation.

The group endorsed  Mayoral candidates Terry Tornek,  Jacque Robinson and Jason Hardin and Brian Biery for Council District 1, noting that it considers these candidates to be “bike-friendly.”

“We thoroughly research candidates and ballot measures in L.A. County to help you make informed decisions on your ballot,” the group tells its pro-bicyclist constituency. “Most elections in Los Angeles see a smaller voter turnout than there are people who bike in this great city. We are a force and we can make a change.”
