Police found the body of an unidentified 58-year-old white man in the middle of the Villa Parke at 363 East Villa Street on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a man down in the park at about 10:22 a.m. and found the body lying face down and was wearing a medical alert bracelet issued in San Gabriel, Chief of Police Phillip Sanchez said.

The victim was non-responsive and fire paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Detectives did not find any apparent trauma or signs of foul play during their initial investigation, Sanchez said.

The body appeared to “had been there for probably some time through the night,” Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson told Crime Scene blog.

Los Angeles County Department of Coroner will conduct an autopsy to the body to identify the cause of death. Investigation is ongoing.
