Holy Family Church: Being a Catholic in the 21st Century – A Parish Mission

Parish Missions are a time to reflect. Past, present and future the Catholic Church has had its trials. Holy Family Church in South Pasadena will hold a series of talks on issues that confront us as Christians in the contemporary world. Fr. Richard Leonard, SJ will offer practical direction about how we can live a deeper walk of faith despite the circumstances that surround us.

Rev. Dr. Richard Leonard, SJ is a bestselling author of many books including the international bestselling title, Where the Hell is God? Finding God in Pain and Suffering.

Fr. Leonard will speak at the Saturday evening Mass, February 23 and at all the Masses Sunday, February 24. February 25, 26 and 27 the mission program will be in the mornings at 9 am and repeated in the evenings at 7 pm. All are welcome to attend. A light continental breakfast will be served after the 8 am Mass. A light dinner will be served at 6 pm for a small fee.

Topics for the sessions include, A Sane Approach to Catholic Tradition and Devotion, Nine steps to Making Better Choices for My Life, Where the Hell is God? Holding on to Faith through Tough Times.
