Lisa Cavelier Joins Leadership Pasadena Board of Directors

Leadership Pasadena (LP) is proud to announce Lisa Cavelier has joined the Board of Directors as Vice President, Marketing and Community Awareness.

“Lisa brings an incredible background in every aspect of non-profit business. She has served as Executive Director of important NGO’s, Director of Donor Relations, COO, Development Director and more and she will be a tremendous asset to Leadership Pasadena,” per Board Chair Martha Shenkenberg.

Lisa began her career as Assistant to the USA Ambassador to France and recently served as Vice President, Guest Services of the Special Olympic World Games in Los Angeles where she managed 12 full-time staff and more than 850 volunteers; oversaw all aspects of accommodations, registration and credentialing including coordination with official partners and sponsors and managed a workforce to deliver services to Honored Guests and Families program participants, including 3,500 – 4,000 top-level invited guests including Heads of State, celebrities, dignitaries, supporters and leaders from around the world and 6,000 family members of competing athletes. Lisa has also been a long term member of crucial non-profits in Pasadena including the Junior League of Pasadena.

Leadership Pasadena is designed to create agile learners and emergent leaders to make the Pasadena area an even better place to live, work and play for everyone.With its many civic, non-profit and community organizations and its diverse communities, there is a large need for empowered and connected community leaders to address the concerns and issues of the Pasadena area together with respect, determination and results.
