Inset: Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich

The South Pasadena City Council will host Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich for a breakfast meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course, 1055 Lohman Lane, South Pasadena, starting at 8:00 a.m. This is one of the periodically scheduled Special City Council Meetings between the Supervisor and the South Pasadena City Council—the last one was held in 2013.

Since 1980, Supervisor Antonovich has represented the County’s Fifth Supervisorial District, which consists of two million residents and spans more than 2,000 square miles. He serves on the Metro Board of Directors; the Southern California Regional Rail Authority Board (Metrolink); the Southern California Association of Governments; the San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments; and the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

The agenda will contain items of mutual interest. The Special City Council Meeting with the Supervisor generally lasts an hour, and the public is invited to attend and provide public comment on items on the agenda (contact the City Clerk’s Office for an agenda at (626) 403-7230).

The Arroyo Seco Golf Course, a City facility, has been managed by Donovan Bros. Golf LLC since 2011. Since then, significant improvements have been made at the facility, and more are planned as the budget allows.
