After watching the Rose Parade live, Pasadena residents and visitors can get up close to the floral and animated floats that were part of the parade, as Miracle-Gro present A Showcase of Floats, with the masterpieces parked along Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards.
The post-parade event gives viewers a closer look at the design and workmanship that went into each float entry and allows them to learn more about the float process with Tournament volunteers – the “White Suiters” – guiding them through the displays.
The exhibit opens at 1 p.m. through 5 p.m. this New Year’s Day, with the last entry at 4 p.m. Tomorrow, January 2, the showcase is on from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m., with the last entry at 4 p.m. Seniors and disabled persons are welcome from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday.
