Pasadena police released a sketch Thursday of one of four suspects wanted in connection with the January 6, 2017 shooting deaths of two men and the wounding of two other people that occurred in the 100 block of West Claremont Street.
Earlier this week police had requested help from the public and that appeal, they said, prompted additional witnesses to come forward.
The January shootings of Pasadenans Antoine Dewayne Sutphen Jr. and Ormani Dajan Duncan, both 24, occurred during a vigil that was being held in remembrance of a young man who had been killed just days earlier.
Investigators said there were four attackers, all of the black men. Witnesses have said one of the assailants was 20 to 25 years old, 6’0” to 6’2” tall, and 210 to 220 lbs. The other three are described as 25 to 30 years old; one is described as 5’10” to 6’0” tall, and 240 to 250 lbs.; a second as approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, and 210 to 220 lbs.; and the third as approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’11” to 6’01” tall, and 180 to 190 lbs.
Homicide/Assault investigators are asking persons who may have information regarding the murder or the composite sketch to contact the Pasadena Police at 626-744-4241 24/7 or Homicide Investigators (626) 744-4511.
