Altadena Nursery School Annual Orange Sale Returns

Altadena Nursery School is in its 62nd year of a successful tradition, and once again is seeking support from the community during their Annual Orange Sale Fundraiser. The school relies on the only fundraiser it holds each year in January for a large portion of its annual budget. Supporters of the school recognize the importance of contributing to the school’s mission, children and future.

Since 1953, the school’s Orange Sale has enabled the school to keep tuition affordable for the families throughout Pasadena/Altadena/San Gabriel Valley communities it has served. Over the years, nearly two thousand girls and boys have been able to experience the wonders of their first critical years in the warm, supportive environment of Altadena Nursery School. The school is run by a cooperative of parents and staff on a non-profit, interracial and non-sectarian basis. Established in 1950, Altadena Nursery School is one of the oldest parent participation nursery schools in Southern California.

A website is available for customers to purchase high-quality navel oranges and ruby grapefruit (to be delivered in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas). New and returning customers can visit www.ansoranges.com to order fruit, donate fruit to a local food bank, or provide cash donations (100% tax deductible) to the school.

Organizations purchasing/donating 5 or more cases have the opportunity to be featured on the www.ansoranges.com website, which includes an advertisement and link to the contributing organization’s website on the “Our Sponsors” page.
