Every year, near the end of January, all three South Pasadena elementary schools–Arroyo Vista, Marengo, and Monterey Hills–celebrate Kindness Week in various ways. This year at Monterey Hills Elementary School, the focus shifted slightly to representation and connection, a joyful celebration of identity, creativity, and community.
