Alverno Convention 2017 in Pictures

This year, the Alverno Heights Academy Convention went through a few changes. One new highlight was a panel of professional politicians. Field Representative for the office of Congresswoman Judy Chu, Anna Iskikian; Asst. Field Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Christian Daly; and Sierra Madre City Council Members Denise Delmar and John Capoccia all gave wonderful advice and insight to the students before they kicked off their own political campaign season. After the panel, Alveno students separated into their different parties and discussed party platforms in preparation for Election Day coming up April 5.
