During the week of September 24 -27th, Judson 5th and 6th grade students participated in the school’s annual science trip to Mountain Sea Adventures camp on Catalina Island. They spent four days in an outdoor classroom setting learning about science with their fellow classmates. While the main focus of the week was educational, they also participated in outdoor activities, such as kayaking, snorkeling, hiking and swimming.
“ The kayaking was really fun and we saw tons of birds, mostly pelicans. There was a lot of kelp in the water. The food was also pretty good. “ Isaac F. 6th grade student
“ I really liked dissecting the squids. We put squid ink on our face and we learned a lot about the squid.” Naomi A. 5th grade student.
“ The food was very good, especially the orange chicken. When we went snorkeling, it was interesting because we got to see the fish.” Israel K. 6th grade student
