Maranatha High School Science Fair
Maranatha High School recently conducted its 2015 Science Fair. This year, 103 projects were entered in nine categories. Projects were judged by highly qualified judges in various science fields including a research scientist, engineers, a computer scientist, an aerospace professional, the engineering Club at Pasadena City College, and more.
The fair and judging process concluded with an awards ceremony. Dr. Jang, Science Faculty and Science Fair Coordinator, presided over the ceremony. He encouraged students to go into the many science fields. Mrs. Shaneka Wood, Science Department Chair, announced the winners and handed out certificates with the help of the rest of the Science Department Staff, Mr. Suarez, Mrs. Smith-Russell, Mr. Newkirk, and Mr. Jesse Rouse. All first place winners will be moving on to the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) Science Fair hosted by Biola University on April 17.
