Meet Blair’s New 7th and 8th Grade History Teacher



Ms. Alicia Tito obtained her master’s in education and secondary social studies teaching credential from UCLA’s Teacher Education Program. She taught 7th and 8th grade history at Animo James B. Taylor and will now be transitioning to Blair as a 6th and 7th grade history teacher.

Additionally, Ms. Tito has served children over the years in various tutoring and mentoring programs, taught English while living abroad in Uruguay, and served as a Citizen Schools AmeriCorps National Teaching Fellow in Houston. Prior to wanting to become a teacher, Ms. Tito worked in the field of International Development, coordinating & managing international development projects designed to strengthen communities in other countries, including Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and Belize.
