New Horizon School: Math Fair 2012

The buzz of math excitement took over the school campus at New Horizon Pasadena’s annual Family Math Fair.  Students walked, skipped, and ran from class to class trying their hand at using paper to create towers, making pictures with tangrams, creating M & M graphs, counting and linking, battling it out with fractions,  and much more.  The parent factor increased exponentially with that adults participating along with their students in discovering the beauty and fun of math through various challenges.  The goal of the evening is to get children excited about math, and the Family Math Fair absolutely multiplied student enthusiasm.  Mission accomplished!
