Pasadena High School Coaches Named Pacific League’s 2017 Boys and Girls Basketball Coach of the Year

The Pacific League 2017 Boys & Girls Basketball Coach of the Year are both from Pasadena High School! Both the boys and girls basketball teams made the CIF Basketball Playoff Championships.

Boys: 27~7 Season
Coach of the Year: Tony Brooks PHS

Co-Player of the Year: Bryce Hamilton PHS and Javonte James Muir HS
First Team: Hunter Woods Muir HS, Darius Brown PHS
Second Team: Eric Hollins Muir HS, Tiyon Martin Muir HS, Darius Mason PHS
Honorable Mention: Simaine Stewart, Jr. Muir HS, Jesse Watkins PHS

Girls: 22~11 Season
Coach of the Year: Jett Del Mundo PHS

First Team: Mariah Cathcart PHS, Taurie Magee PHS
Second Team: Gillian Smith PHS
Honorable Mention: Nia Cathcart PHS both the Southern Section & the State
