Pasadena High School Welcomes New Principal

Pasadena High School (PHS) welcomes, Mr. Roberto Hernandez as its new Principal. He has previous middle and high school experience and joins PHS from Sheldon Early College High School in Houston, Texas. Mr. Hernandez replaces Mr. Gilbert Barraza, who as previously announced has accepted the position of District Athletic Director.

“I am excited and privileged to serve as the Principal of Pasadena High School,” he says. “I look forward to working together with the staff, faculty, and community of PHS to strengthen and sustain excellence and success for each of the students. Together with staff, PHS is committed to Roberto Hernandez establishing a safe, inclusive culture that identifies and develops the strengths of each student. By providing students with equal opportunity and access to a variety of programs and activities, PHS will develop students academically and socially so that they are prepared to compete in college and the workforce after graduation.”

Mr. Hernandez joins Pasadena High School as of June 30, 2016.
