The Frostig Center is proud to announce that Pasadena resident Jean Keatley has joined its Board of Directors.

Mrs. Keatley brings to The Frostig Center her financial expertise and commitment to community service. Mrs. Keatley enjoyed a long career as an investment manager. She worked 20 years as a senior vice president and portfolio manager at U.S. Trust Co. before retiring in 2004.

An experienced volunteer, Mrs. Keatley has served several local organizations. She has been a member of the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts for 20 years and served on the board of the Hillsides Education Center. She is also a member of the San Marino League, an organization committed to charitable work and to furthering members’ knowledge of fine art.

“We are excited to welcome Jean to our board,” Executive Director Dean Conklin said. “Frostig will benefit from her professional experience and her philanthropic spirit.”

Mrs. Keatley came to know The Frostig Center while managing its investment portfolio several years ago. She said she appreciates the work Frostig does to improve the lives of children with learning differences.

“I hope I can contribute to Frostig’s success,” Mrs. Keatley said.

The Frostig Center is dedicated to improving the lives of children with learning differences through an integrated program of research, professional development and community outreach, and Frostig School.
