Poly’s Dance Team Wins Coveted Unity Award at United Spirit Association Camp

Poly’s Dance team and Mascots recently returned from four days at UCSB for the United Spirit Association camp, where they learned and performed nine dances, six cheers, and spent countless hours demonstrating their spirit and hard work.

The Team’s success during the camp was evident in the number of awards they received throughout the week, including the coveted Unity Award, voted on by the other teams in the program and awarded to the team that exhibited the most unity, cooperation, kindness to other teams, inclusivity, politeness, positive attitudes, and excellence in performance. This group showed a natural and genuine kindness, generosity, and positivity that were contagious to those who encountered them. Come see the team perform at the football season opener at Temple City High School on Aug. 26, at 7:00 p.m.
