Kindergarteners have been busy learning about the world, discovering the continents, and appreciating both similarities and differences in cultures. As Mem Fox writes in her book, Whoever You Are, “Children all over the world may be different in some ways. But inside, they are just like you.” So began the Multicultural Celebration, where the children sang songs from different continents and dressed up in festive clothing from around the world. Following the performance, students and their families enjoyed a potluck of multicultural foods.
