Ramona Convent Secondary School Student Participates in International Dragon Boat Race held in Thailand

Ramona Convent Secondary School congratulates Patricia S. ’21 who has just returned from Thailand after participating with Team USA in the International Dragon Boat Races. Patricia’s Team, USA Juniors, brought home 1 Gold, 2 Silvers, and 5 Bronze medals. Hearing the US National Anthem and raising their flag during the awarding ceremony for that Gold medal win was an inspirational moment for the team. Dragon Boat racing is an ultimate team sport that is being embraced worldwide. 26 Countries and almost 4,000 athletes competed at this event with Team USA ranking 3rd overall in medal count.
