San Marino High School congratulates junior, Clare Garcia, for placing 1st in her second straight tournament this past weekend. Clare, who had an impressive sophomore season, is looking to build on her past achievements and make a deeper run this year. Garcia opened up the season by winning the Carter High School tournament and followed that with another first place finish at the Magnolia High School tournament.

Clare’s younger sister, Tilly Garcia, also had a strong showing in her first high school tournament. Tilly placed 7th and medalled at the Magnolia High School tournament. The freshman wrestler will look to build on her recent success and make a statement this season.
