Weizmann School’s Science Fair a Success!

Weizmann Day School, a community Jewish day school located in Pasadena, held its annual Science Fair on January 26, 2017. Weizmann is proud of the school’s science program as the school is the namesake of famous biochemist and first Israeli president Chaim Weizmann.

Students from kindergarten through eighth grade presented their science fair projects. Each student developed, conducted and presented a science experiment using the scientific method.

Scientists from the Pasadena community judged the middle school science projects. Nine students in 6th-8th grade qualified for the Los Angeles County Science Fair. Kuddos to these students who will compete at the fair at the end of March!

Weizmann is an accredited K-8 school offering an excellent academic program in traditional academic subjects, the arts, Hebrew, and Jewish studies. Weizmann’s Mission is to provide an enriching education, rooted in Jewish traditions and values, which fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and compassion.
