8 Shots Fired, Victim Wounded in Late Night Pasadena Shooting

A male victim was shot and injured late Sunday night in a hail of bullets near the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue at approximately 10:29 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter automatic gunshot detection system alert indicating eight gunshots fired in the 1200 block of North Los Robles Avenue.

Multiple calls reporting shots fired in the area were also received by the department.
As officers were en route to the scene, a caller informed dispatch that she was driving her son to the hospital. The son had sustained a gunshot wound, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Tim Bundy.

Minutes later, the caller arrived at the police station with the victim, who was conscious and alert. The victim’s age not available at the time of this writing.
The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound before being transported to a local hospital.

Officers discovered evidence of a shooting at the 1200 block of North Los Robles Avenue during their investigation. No additional victims were found at the scene, according to Lt. Bundy.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and no suspect information has been released at this time.

Lt. Bundy urged anyone with information related to this incident to contact the Pasadena Police Department. The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
