Parking enforcement returns
This is a real hitchhikers guide situation. Posting on a vague website that enforcement will begin on Oct 1? Thats bs!
I read 400 people called in to complain and restart ticketing. Thats 400 people out of 142,000. That is less than 1%. Is it the 1% of people currently stuck without jobs or those facing the threat of eviction? I bet not because some of those people may have to LIVE in those cars getting tickets or “boots”
There are postings at the entrances of the city about paying for overnight parking. Why cant a temporary sign be placed that notifies when enforcement will resume? Or a billboard?
Over 50 bucks is too much to waste money on a parking ticket right now.
