Eighty-six animals being cared for at Pasadena Humane, including all of the shelter’s cats, are starting new lives at their “forever homes” following the organization’s Free Adoption Day event on Saturday, representatives said.
Fifty felines, 21 dogs and 15 small critters were adopted during the event, in which all fees were waived, according to the organization.
“Thank you to everyone who made today’s event a huge success for the animals!” Pasadena Humane said via a Facebook post.
Dog and cat adoptions included spay or neuter surgery, microchips and vaccines and a free checkup at VCA Animal Hospitals, according to Pasadena Humane.
